The late winter/early spring time in Illinois can be pretty miserable. The wind, cold temperatures, and rainy weather make it very uncomfortable to be outside for more than a few minutes some days. Champaign is a city full of culture, which can surprise a lot of people who have never been here. Although surrounded by cornfields and known primarily for its agricultural roots, Champaign is home to a variety of museums and cultural centers that enrich the community. From performing arts to history museums, there is something to draw anyone's interest. Krannert Art Museum
