Now that Thanksgiving is over, it seems Champaign-Urbana is in full holiday swing. There are so many events coming up, it's difficult to choose what to do! Each weekend can be as packed full of holiday events as you want with all of the the different options. Here are our picks for events not to miss in CU!

A Magical Cirque Christmas

For a night of enchantment and wonder, see A Magical Cirque Christmas at The Virginia Theatre. See acrobats, illusionists, jugglers, dancers, and many more at this all-ages show. Holiday Tasting at Prairie Fruits Farm & Creamery

On December 8th, stop by Prairie Fruit Farm & Creamery to try all their new holiday cheeses, beer, wine, breads, and jams. This is a great place to find gifts for everyone on your list! Be sure to pet the friendly goats while you're there. 

Breakfast with Santa

Fun for kids and grown-ups alike, Curtis Orchard is hosting breakfast with Santa. There will be crafts, cookie decorating, a Mrs. Clause sing along, plenty of photo ops, and, the main event, Santa. Kids get to have breakfast with Santa Clause and then sit on his lap to tell him their Christmas wishes. Buy your tickets before it's sold out! 

The Nutcracker

Everyone’s favorite classical Christmas ballet is coming to Krannert. Presented by Krannert Center for the Performing Arts and Champaign-Urbana Symphony Orchestra, this is a can't miss holiday event. Learn more about the beloved ballet here, and see all the performance dates and times here.
